In Passing X The Genteel
So excited to announce my collaboration with theGenteel.com!
It's actually quite an interesting story. Would you like to hear it? alright, you've convinced me.
It was all by a huge stroke of luck that I happened to be sitting next to Natalie in a Monday morning class. We got to talking about our passions, mine for fashion and hers for writing. One thing led to another and the next thing I knew I was emailing Mona (Editor of the Genteel) who turned out to be Natalie's long time friend. it was definitely my lucky day because the next next thing I knew I was officially on board at the Genteel! I even got my own bio page. I was giggling like a school girl when I saw my post for the first time. Here it is:

Feast your eyes on Alexa
The style icon Alexa Chung is new face of Vero Moda's Spring collection. I've never been a huge fan of Vero Moda, but it looks like they did the right thing this season by recruiting Alexa. The combination of sunny Brooklyn streets, Alexa's cutie attitude and those tassel heels have me sold.

Nifty Necklines

Recently, I've noticed that my wardrobe is full of solid colored pieces. I'm not much of a print girl, and I usually gravitate towards simple silhouettes. My new years resolution, if you will, is to embrace this simpleness but to spice it up with some nifty necklaces. Here's to 2012 and kicking off the new year with a little sparkle!
